Starting our social media interaction (Twitter)

You can now follow us! @SaltSisters11

Hi guys, we have now created a twitter to allow all our viewers and followers to interact with us on a bigger scale! Twitter is a service for people to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent message and on our twitter page we are able to post Tweets, which may contain photos, videos, links or just short bursts of information. On our twitter page you are able to look at updates of what filming is taking place for any upcoming videos, exclusive pictures which can only be seen on twitter, exciting information on any news or events and it is a place where you can talk to the artist yourself - ask questions, send your love, anything you want.. to a certain extent.

Here is the twitter page - because it is so easily accessible, we will be updating it a lot (!!) which you will not want to miss and the layout which you can see below will not always stay the same.

This isn't the only recent creation, we are also in the process of creating both an Instagram AND a Facebook page to interact with you guys and keep you updated. All 3 pages and social links will include exclusive news and pictures which can only be seen on that page so if I was you, I'd follow them all!.. No pressure.

Keep a look out for more updates on each social link via my blog, I will be posting once all three are  created and giving updates if any changes are made to the pages so that there is no confusion.

Why have a twitter account?
Twitter is a free social media network which has millions of users. This is a big marketing and branding opportunity for new and upcoming artists like Savannah (the artist) and gives new artists the opportunity to meet similar artists like themselves. The more you tweet - if its relevant - the more users will interact with you, follow, like, RT etc and your follower numbers are very likely to grow. Twitter is another marketing and promotion tool - you can update fans on any news including updates on music videos, new releases of songs/albums, promote other social media forms such as Instagram, Facebook or even your blog if you have one.

Twitter, similar to most social media networks now a days, enables you to use hashtages and directly target your niche and/or even widen your audience! If an artists hashtags a certain word related to their music for instance, #popmusic, people who are searching for new songs to listen to in the pop genre will come across this hashtag and OH LOOK, you've gained a new viewer in a couple of seconds!
